Gardaí in Kilkenny have seized a vehicle which they found abandoned after its driver failed to stop for them.
They say it had been detected speeding 136km in a 100km zone and ‘refused to stop’.

The roads policing team later found it bogged in a field shortly after witnessing it taking off at huge speed last night.
In a social media posting they note “You can explain this one to the Judge”, saying the owner of the Toyota Landcruiser will have to make an application to the District Court for its return.
