Gardaí have confirmed to KCLR news that they are investigating a sudden death in the city overnight.
They were alerted this morning after the body of a man in his thirties was discovered.
A scene in the Irishtown/Dean Street area has been preserved but Gardaí say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
