Gardaí make an arrest following theft of car in Carlow yesterday

Gardai in Carlow say they have arrested a man after a car was stolen from Penneys car park yesterday evening.

The blue Toyota was taken at around 6.45pm after its keys had been snatched from the owner.

It was later recovered on the Kilkenny road and a man was arrested – he has been taken for questioning to Thomastown garda station.
