A new appeal’s going out for any witnesses to a mugging in Carlow.
KCLR reported earlier this week how a man was pinned to a wall and had his wallet robbed. (Read our story there).
It happened after midnight on Sunday night in the College Green / Green Road area.
Garda Niamh Doran has been telling KCLR it happened in “The early hours of Monday morning just past at about twenty to one am a male we believe, a blue hoodie, face-covering approached another man and unfortunately violence was used, he pinned him up against the wall and he demanded his phone and his wallet, the victim handed over his wallet and the attacker fled on foot”.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone who might have dashcam footage to contact Carlow Town Garda Station on 059 9136620.
