Gardaí say another local’s been hit by fraudsters, this time to the tune of almost €2,000

A woman has been parted with nearly €2,000 by fraudsters.

She reported the incident to the Gardaí in Kilkenny after answering a scam call to her phone.

Gardaí have warned again about the prevalence of such incidents and are urging people not to engage with callers or follow links on text or email.
