Gardaí are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage that occurred at Bateman Quay in the early evening of Sunday, March 23rd.
At approximately 8:50pm, an individual on an e-motorbike was observed evading Gardaí in the area, resulting in significant damage to the barrier leading into the Market Yard carpark.
The individual, who was reportedly attempting to flee from Gardaí, caused extensive harm to the infrastructure as they sped away.
The Gardaí are now urging anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the individual involved to come forward.
They have emphasized the importance of community assistance in helping to resolve the case and identify the person responsible for the damage.
Anyone who may have witnessed the event, or has any relevant information, is asked to contact Gardaí at the nearest Garda station.
