Homelessness Growing at an “Exponential Rate,” Says CEO of Kilkenny’s Good Shepherd Centre

His comments come as the group launches its three-week campaign, Marching the March for the Homeless, aimed at raising awareness of the scale of homelessness in Ireland.

In January, over 13,000 people were in emergency accommodation, but Sherry believes the true number is closer to 30,000 when factoring in those rough sleeping, staying on sofas, or in reception centres.

The campaign hopes to highlight the growing crisis and urge more action to address the issue.
