House prices in Carlow are rising faster than the national average.
They’ve risen by 12 percent to just over 175 thousand euro while in Kilkenny, house prices have risen by almost 7 percent to just over 207 thousand euro.
Thats according to the lastest report from Daft.ie which shows that the price of the average house nationwide has now increased by nearly 9 per cent to 241-thousand..
The latest report also shows there were just 24-thousand properties nationwide on the market last month – 4 per cent fewer than in September 2016.
Daft.ie Economist Ronan Lyons says while the lack of supply is the real issue, there’s an element of panic that’s concerning.
