Hundreds of ESB customers in Co Kilkenny hit by power outage

381 ESB customers are without power this afternoon.

The utility says it’s due to a fault in the Goresbridge area which happened at about 1:30pm.

Supply is expected to be restored by 2:30pm.

Meanwhile, a further 430 in the surrounding area are also without the service, but in their case it’s due to a planned outage and is due back by 4pm.
