The General Manager at St Lukes hospital says the situation there is much improved today.
Ann Slattery says beds have been earmarked for any patients still on trolleys there this morning.

There were up to 40 at one stage in recent days and the manager says the hospital has been particularly busy since Christmas.
But she says they used every avenue possible to alleviate the situation.
