Investigations underway following drugs discovery in Kilkenny city

Investigations are underway following the discovery of drugs in Kilkenny.

KCLR News understands four bags of what is believed to be cocaine were found close to a school in the city centre on Tuesday morning.

Gardaí have confirmed they’ve recovered a quantity of a ‘suspected controlled substance at a location in Kilkenny city” which is undergoing analysis.

Enquiries are ongoing.
