Ireland’s entry for this year’s Pan Celtic International Song Contest will be decided at an event in Carlow tonight.

Over 40 entries were received this year from all over Ireland – 18 of which were shortlisted for the final in the Seven Oaks Hotel.

This is the 6th year running that Carlow has played host to this gala event.

Emma Uí Bhroin of Glór Cheatharlach told KCLR there’s a good variety in tonight’s selection.
