Irish Rail reveals ambitious plans to connect rail services to Dublin Airport

Irish Rail is looking for Government support for a massive new project to connect Dublin Airport with Cork, Galway and Belfast.

The company says the 300 million euro link would boost tourism and the economy and open the entire rail network to air passengers.

Irish Rail says that if it gets the green light it will take less than five years to build and could carry three million passengers every year.
