“It’s a huge undertaking to finance a school of 300 children, plus the teachers”; Kilkenny crew seek help with fundraiser for African facility

An African school serving education and meals to 300 pupils continues to flourish thanks to support from Kilkenny people.

Kilimanjaro Direct, which was set up in 2005 by former city based teacher Sheila Ryan, funded the facility in Moshi, Tanzania and volunteers from here are regular visitors to it.

But you don’t have to travel to the African continent to show support, you can help by attending a fundraising table quiz this evening.
