John McGuinness says half a million euro has been spent now on reports and yet nobody has stepped up to take responsibility for what happened to Grace and others.
Reports published in Kilkenny yesterday found that action could have been taken to remove Grace from the South East foster home on a number of occasions during the 20 years she was there, but it wasn’t.
Five staff members identified in the reports are still working within the HSE while some others transferred to Tusla and others have retired.
But Deputy McGuinness its hard to grasp why nobody has faced sanctions over this.
Meanwhile the Disabilities Minister says people must be held to account for their actions in relation to the Grace case.
Finian McGrath also says he hopes to have the terms of reference for a commission of inquiry ready to bring to cabinet next Tuesday.
