The Kilkenny-based Kenyan scorpion who grabbed headlines across the globe is now on public display.
KCLR News broke the story of how a woman, Lorraine, discovered the Fishers Fat Tailed Scorpion in her bedroom 12 days after she’d travelled home to Wicklow from Kenya.
She contacted the National Reptile Zoo in Kilkenny where James Hennessy and his crew were happy to take in the arachnid.
You can listen back to both here.
Now James says he, or it appears now she, can be seen for the next couple of weeks at his Hebron Business Park facility.
