Kilkenny and Carlow exit Leinster U21 hurling championship

hurrrlllCarlow and Kilkenny’s U21 hurlers were both knocked out of the Leinster champinship last night in their respective q-finals.


Wexford recorded a second successive win over the Cats with a 2-14 to 0-10 win in Nowlan park.


The visitor’s goals came in the 53rd and 57th minutes and speaking afterwards manager Breen Ryan admitted they finished the game as a contest

Westmeath progressed to the provincial semi finals at the expense of Carlow after a 3-19 to 0-10 win in Mullingar last night.


The visitors to Cusack park trailed by four points at half time 2-5 to 0-7 however Westmeath turned on the power in the second period scoring 1-14


Westmeath will now meet Dublin in the semi-final and Wexford face Offaly
