Kilkenny/Carlow Gardaí warning older people in particular to beware of scam callers

Older people in particular are being urged to be extra wary when it comes to hoax callers.

The warning comes from local Gardaí who say people in the Kilkenny/Carlow area are still being targeted.

They say the old favourite ‘something’s wrong with your computer’ is the one most commonly being used at the moment.

You’re being reminded not to engage with these people and never give out personal information to anyone you don’t know.
