Kilkenny city army barracks holding open day today

The local army base is throwing open its gates today and inviting you in.

James Stephens Army troops will welcome in family, friends and those interested in getting to see what happens inside the city site.

A recruitment truck will have information for those interested in a career with the Defence Forces.
