Brexit could be the reason why car sales locally have dropped compared to this time last year.
That’s according to Kilkenny car dealer, Ward Kinsella who says new car registrations are down about 13% – from more than 1,700 last year to just over 1,500 this year.
However he says that is more or less in keeping with the trend nationally which saw sales figures for last month fall an average of 10%.
Speaking to The Way It Is this week, Ward says he believes Brexit has created a lot of uncertainty.
