Kilkenny Fianna Fáil councillor may be joining Renua Ireland as by-election candidate

It looks like Renua Ireland may have poached a sitting Kilkenny councillor.

Speculation is rife this afternoon about that Fianna Fáil’s Paddy McKee may be leaving his party in favour of Renua and will then be running as their candidate in the by-election.

Councillor McKee is expected to make an announcement tomorrow.

NUI Maynooth Lecturer and political blogger, Adrian Kavanagh, told KCLR News that this could be a huge blow for Fianna Fáil.
