Kilkenny Gardai investigate complaint after young girls are approached by couple in van

Kilkenny Gardaí are investigating after two young girls say a couple tried to beckon them over to a van on Monday.

It happened at the Newpark Road Roundabout in the City shortly after two o’clock.

The children reported the man and woman, who were in the van, trying to call them over to it but instead the girls ran home.

A complaint was made to Gardaí by their parents and the incident is being investigated.
