Damien Vereker from Kilmacow in South Kilkenny and his pilot Mitchell McLaughlin will be in the Individual Pursuit Para Cycling qualifying stages at 12.41pm today
If success they will contest the final at 4pm
The opening ceremony last night, saw 4,400 athletes parade along the Champs-Elysees to Place de la Concorde in Paris, that marked the start of the 2024 Paralympics.
