A local man has won 25 thousand times what he spent on a national lottery scratchcard.
The man from Kilkenny bought the card for €20 in SuperValu in Carrick-on-Suir on the 29th of March and yesterday picked up half a million euro.

He says he wishes to remain anonymous but that he’s going to take his time before making any decisions about how to spend the money.
He took a day off from work yesterday to collect his prize from National Lottery HQ.
