It’s official – Kilkenny’s considered a Crafty City.
It’s one of only four places in Europe to be designated a World Crafts Council Craft City and Region. (For more see here).

Gus Mabelson of MADE in Kilkenny is one of the driving forces behind the move to gain the recognition.
He’s been telling our Sue Nunn that it will really boost Kilkenny’s reputation globally.
