It’s been announced that Kilkenny is to play host to the FAI’s Festival of Football this year.
Cathaoirleach of the County Council, Matt Doran made the announcement at yesterday’s Municipal District meeting.

The official launch will take place on the 24th of May with FAI boss John Delaney and Ireland Manager, Martin O’Neill amongst those attending.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Doran says this is great news for the city and county.
