Kilkenny student in Doodle4Google finals today

Today is the final of the Doodle for Google competition.

The annual event is held by Google to have children create a logo, that will, if chosen, feature on their homepage.

6 year old James Parsons from St Patrick’s de la Salle school in Kilkenny is the only local finalist out of 75 in the contest.

Over 4,000 entries were received and the winner of the competition gets €10,000 for their school, and €5,000 to put towards a college fund for themselves.
