Kilkenny TD calls for urgent action to reduce back-to-school costs

Kathleen Funchion says urgent action has to be taken to reduce the rising back to school costs for parents.

She was speaking following the launch of Sinn Féin’s proposals to tackle the spiraling costs.

The Carlow/Kilkenny TD, who’s spokesperson for education, says there are a number of measures that can be put in place to help struggling families, including another increase in the back-to-school allowance.
