Irish band Kodaline are set to honour the memory of a young Kilkenny fan who died at a concert of theirs last year.
Ciara Lawlor, who was 17 years old, took ill while attending their gig in Marley Park on the 8th of July and later died at Tallaght Hospital.
At the time Kodaline attended the Loreto student’s funeral and just recently donated a signed guitar for auction at a memorial and fundraiser in her honour.
And now, the Ciara Lawlor Memorial facebook page have announced that the band is to “immortalise” Ciara in a song which will be on their new album.
It’s not yet known when the album will be released.
