Former Ireland hockey player, Catriona Carey, has been sent forward for trial on money laundering charges.
The 46-year-old, from Rochford Manor, Graiguecullen, Co Carlow, was served with a book of evidence today and is scheduled to return to court next month.
The charges, related to alleged activities between 2019 and 2021, follow an investigation by the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau.
Two other individuals are facing related charges as part of the same investigation.
The DPP has directed that the case proceed to trial before a jury at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
