Kilkenny’s Lady Desart bridge will be out of action for a time from Monday

If you’ve been using the Lady Desert bridge to cross the Nore in the city then you need to know it will be closed for a while.

Remedial works are to be carried out on the pedestrian bridge from next Monday until the end of the month

You’re being asked to use Johns Bridge or the new St Francis Bridge while the works are being carried out.
