Killer Whale to be removed from the South East today.

The body of the Killer Whale which was discovered washed up on Saleens Beach near Dunmore East is due to be taken away today.

A passerby made the discovery on Friday morning and the creature has since attracted large numbers of curious visitors.

Brendan Glody of Dunmore East’s Deep Sea Charters, told KCLR News that the body is to be removed for forensic examination today but that they do hope to get him back.
