Lifebuoys in Kilkenny have been subjected to vandalism for the second time in less than a week.
KCLR reported last Friday that lifebuoys along the Canal Walk beside the Nore had been destroyed or stolen.
And now photos sent to KCLR today show that more of the life-saving rings have been completely melted off the walls there.
The images show the melted plastic and the scortched walls.
Many locals have been expressing their anger online “disgraceful” and “mindless vandalism”.
