LIverpool and Barcelona hold “productive” Suarez talks

Liverpool and Barcelona are set to hold more talks, as Luis Suarez closes in on a move to Spain.

The clubs are believed to have held “productive” talks yesterday over the proposed transfer of the Uruguayan striker.

It’s believed Barcelona have made a cash offer of around 90 million Euro for Suarez.

No deal has yet been finalised, but it’s thought Liverpool want any deal to include Chilean international Alexis Sanchez moving to Anfield.

Sanchez is also wanted by a host of other clubs, including Arsenal and Juventus.

Suarez, who has four years remaining on the Liverpool contract he signed late last year, is serving a four-month ban from all football after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.
