Kilkenny and Carlow won big at the regional Restaurant awards last night.
Awards were handed out in a number of categories for each county including Best Restaurant which went to Campagne in Kilkenny and Sha Roe Bistro in Carlow.
Riccardo Cavaliere of Ristorante Rinnucini won Best restaurant manager in Leinster while Mag Kirwan of Goatsbridge trout farm picked up the local food hero prize.
Meanwhile Café de Mode in Ballon was the overall winner of Best Café in Leinster.
Lady Helen at Mount Juliet won best hotel restaurant in Kilkenny & the Lord Bagenal Inn took that accolade for Carlow.
Cake Face in Kilkenny and Le Fermier in Carlow won the Best newcomer awards.
Rive Gauche was the winner of best casual dining in Kilkenny and Rathwood won best casual dining Carlow
Pub of the Year was Brewery Corner in Kilkenny and The Terrace in Carlow.
Best customer service in Carlow went to Lennons and Zuni in Kilkenny.
Mimosa Bar won Best Wine Experience Carlow while Rinnucini won that title for Kilkenny.
Marble City Bar won Best Gastro Pub Kilkenny with Teach Dolmain taking the honours for Carlow.
