Thousands of people turned out nationwide yesterday to protest against Water Charges.
Locally, a demonstaration took place at the Liberty Tree in Carlow.

While over 500 people from South Kilkenny travelled to Waterford to voice their concerns.
Kilkenny Cllr Melissa O’Neill was with them, she told KCLR news it was a peaceful protest.
