People from Carlow and Kilkenny are to take to the streets of Waterford next week for a protest march against downgrading of Waterford University Hospital.
The demonstration comes in relation to the downgrading of the hospital and the lack of cardio services available there.
It’s being organised by the South East Patient Advocacy Group – and starts in Ballybricken at 2 o’clock on Saturday the 14th of January.
Hillary O’Neill from the group told KCLR news that not having 24/7 cardiac care is a big worry.
