Lowry in share of lead at Wentworth as rain delays play

Shane Lowry holds a share of the lead heading into his third round of the BMW PGA Championship.

The Offaly native is on 10 under par, joint top with Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn, as they sit four clear of the chasing pack.

Play was delayed this morning because of heavy rain, with a revised three-ball draw now in place.

Rory McIlroy starts the day in a tie for fifth place on 5 under par, with Simon Thornton on 2 under par.
