Man arrested in connection with seizure of €14.2m worth of suspected cocaine in south east

One person’s been arrested following the seizure of €14.2m worth of suspected cocaine in the south east.

About 202.5kgs of the drug was discovered by Revenue Officers following the search of a lorry which had disembarked from a ferry at Rosslare Europort on Saturday evening.

A man aged in his thirties has since been detained at a Garda Station in Co. Wexford and investigations are ongoing.
