A man has appeared before Carlow District Court earlier this morning in connection with a serious assault of a woman in Carlow last Sunday.
He was brought before a special sitting of the court at 9am this morning.
The man in his 30’s was refused bail and will appear before Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday.
