A man’s been arrested by Gardaí investigating an incident yesterday in which it’s claimed an individual wielded a weapon at two county Wicklow business premises.
The first was at Kilbride Lane in Bray shortly after 3pm after which he entered a second on Herbert Road.
Staff were threatened at both locations before the man left with a number of items.
There were no injuries reported.
A man aged in his forties was subsequently arrested and detained for questioning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in Wicklow.
He’s since been charged and is expected to appear before a special sitting of Bray District Court this morning, while investigations are ongoing.
