Gardaí in Carlow are investigating claims of a man being pinned to a wall in the early hours of this morning.
Just after 12:30am, a male wearing a blue hoodie and a face covering approached another in the College Green / Green Road area.

A phone and wallet were demanded with the wallet handed over before the attacker fled on foot.
No injuries were sustained.
But gardai are asking anybody who witnessed the incident to contact Carlow Town Garda Station on 059 9136620.
