Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after e-scooter and car collide in Carlow town

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and an e-scooter in Carlow town this afternoon (Thursday).

The collision happened on Hanover Street at around 1.30pm.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and a man aged in his forties was taken to St Luke’s hospital to be treated for serious injuries following the incident.
