Mayor to represent Kilkenny at funeral of young student killed in Berkeley tragedy

The Mayor will represent the people of Kilkenny today at the funeral of one of the young students killed in the Berkeley balcony collapse last week.

Joe Malone will be in Rathgar as the family and friends of Niccolai Schuster gather to say their final farewells to the young man who lost his life in the tragedy.

The Mayor will bring a book of condolences signed by locals and a letter from him and the council Cathaoirleach.
