A constitutional amendment specific to blasphemy isn’t needed when there are other laws in Ireland that protect religious freedom.
That’s according to John Paul Phelan who’s looking for it to be removed from the Irish Constitution in this coming Friday’s vote.
The local junior minister says it’s completely outdated, inappropriate and unnecessary.
