Mixed bag of weather recorded in Carlow in August

Carlow was a real mixed bag of weather in August recording some of the coldest and warmest temperatures in the country.

Latest figures from Met Eireann show the lowest grass temperature of -1 degrees on the 15th of the month was recorded in Oak Park.

Carlow was consistently warmer than most places though with an average monthly temperature of 14.7 degrees.
