The funeral of the mother of world-renowned dancer Michael Flatley takes place in Carlow later today.
Eilish Flatley, née Ryan will be laid to rest at a private burial following mass in St Moling’s Church in St Mullins.
She passed away in Chicago a fortnight ago and will be buried with her husband Michael James and family.
They emigrated to the US from her home in St Mullins back in 1947 and ran a construction business in Chicago where they raised five children.
