It’s hoped a new education hub will be opened in Carlow by the end of 2017.
That’s according to Fine Gael TD Pat Deering who says the development will support Carlow’s young people to further develop their careers.

Tyndall college, as it will be known, will consist of a post primary vocational school, as well as Carlow Institute of Further Education & training.
The sod was officially turned on the site, which will be based in Mortarstown last week.
