The Kilkenny -Carlow Garda Division has a new Chief Superintendent.
There’s been nobody in the position since Mick McGarry retired in December 2013.

But now Dominic Hayes who is currently the Detective Superintendent based in Waterford will take up the role in the coming weeks.
Detective Inspector Michael Henebry who is in Thomastown now will take over that role following his promotion.
Carlow Inspector Martin Walker has been promoted to Superintendent and will take up his new post in Kildare.
