A new swimming spot that’s under construction in Thomastown may have been filled a little bit early thanks to the weekend’s weather.
A natural open air swimming pools being built beside the river and mill in the town but was flooded after the heavy rain on Saturday.
The contractors are nearly half way through the built at the moment.
Shem Caulfield from the Thomastown Community River Trust says it will hold up work for a small while but it was nice to see what the finished product would be like.
